Best meal I have had on the road in a month. I had the polenta bolognese and the most scrumptious locally harvested sauteed mushrooms I have ever eaten. A pleasure.

If you're in Taos, New Mexico, this should be a stop. Daughter did the research and proclaimed it to be a MUST DO so we did. The setting is almost like a hidden gem. It's tucked back in a gravel parking lot! Once you walk to it, it's very warm and inviting with Whispering curtains and colorful seating. ENTER! and wow very small entry and please make sure you have a reservation (ours was 1 month in advance) because again, it's not likely a walk in will be seated (management please correct me if I'm wrong). Daughter and I are seated and immediately served water with menus. Server arrives literally 10 seconds later. She is so informative and friendly! We order a bottle of red and the famous blue corn muffins with dill/parmesan butter to start. Daughter not enamored of the red wine so I graciously accept the residue (I'm not driving). The blue corn/yellow muffin appetizer is a wide eyed enjoyment. Literally crumbles in our mouths and the 2 butters slathered on top is worthy of an Oscar. Next up: The beet/grapefruit/avocado salad which is so gorgeously presented it should be a fascinator (that's a British hat). It's scrumptious! The sweet, tart and bland meld well! And now the next Oscar! My fried avocado tacos and daughter's encrusted sea bass makes an appearance ONLY to be devoured in nothing flat. The tacos were (first) like a painting on my plate! Green, purple, orange embedded in a soft brown shell. One bite folks and I'm wondering if I've had my last taco. ABSOLUTELY SUBLIME. every taste melts with each other! Nothing overpowers each ingredient. That's what you call perfection! Daughter let me have a bite of her sea bass and I was absolutely blown away by the non fishy taste (do you look for that too?). So just to be completely, 100% overboard YES! DESSERT! We order the flour less chocolate torte and man, the minute it's in front of us I smile because this presentation suggests it's going to be delicious and IT IS. whoa! Chocolate taste is sliding down your throat with a thunder you haven't experienced. It's unmatched and please! Pick up the homemade whipped cream with your fork for a further bounce. Our dinner here was one of the best! Please note: it's cash only and that's cold, hard cash. No cash apps accepted. Well worth it!

What a charming, lovely, fine dining experience! This restaurant has taken the fine dining to a different level with their unique combination of fresh and locally sourced ingredients. So satisfying! The decor, the mood, the lighting, and the music made this a perfect location to celebrate a special night. Our waiter patiently assisted us choosing the meals that suits our appetite being vegetarian. We shared Seasonal fruit, local greens, pecans and warm goat cheese salad followed by Love Apple Tacos (vegetarian) and a tasty dessert. I'd LOVE to be back here again one day.

Love the ambience of this re-purposed old church! Each dish is thoughtfully crafted, though the excellent starter of grilled endives and leeks with a caper vinaigrette, bacon, parmesan, and a fried egg was the best for me. Have to have the super soft corn muffins as well, and the delicious pinon tart.

I can’t gush enough about how wonderful this beautiful and quaint restaurant is. Quality fresh ingredients, expertly paired to achieve perfection in both taste and presentation. Phenomenal, genuine service, and an inviting ambiance that is unparalleled. It just all feels good and warm, food, service and vibe. My favorite part-watching the chef light up when we complimented her on the way out. Chef Jenni absolutely beamed. She is humble and talented and deserves every accolade (aka James Beard) and success that comes her way. Don’t miss this spot. Worth the phone call.

We were there for just one evening. The hostess made room for us, we should have attempted to make a rez on a Sat nite. It’s cash only! We walked .2 miles to the ATM and came back. We had an excellent salad and bolognese dish. I love this country quaint style decor. It was recommended by a lady down in the court at one of the shops. I highly recommend.
